60 Day Money Back

Gearworx offers an unconditional 60 day money back guarantee to all web hosting clients. Clients have the right to cancel their services with us by submitting an account cancellation request within the first 60 days of the order date. Upon submission of the cancellation, the account will be immediately terminated and fees for the first 60 days, excluding setup or other administration fees will be refunded to your credit card or PayPal account. The money back guarantee does not apply to account renewals. Accounts terminated for AUP violations do not qualify for the money back guarantee. For example, if your account is cancelled due to spamming, you will not be given any refund. Refunds will usually appear on your credit card 5 to 7 business days.

Refunds are only available in accordance with the 60 Day Money Back Guarantee. Refunds will be provided in the same payment method of the original payment. Please be aware that there are no pro-rated refunds after the first 60 days of service. Our money back guarantee does not apply to any additional items or services; this includes but is not limited to POP accounts, additional disk, data transfer and databases. Also not included are Domain Registration and Dedicated services, as well as Reseller programs. Refunds are not available after the first 60 days.

99.5% Uptime

The 99.7% uptime guarantee is extended to clients as a safety measure, so clients can be confident of the reliability of our service. This guarantee extends to all clients of Gearworx If, in one month (example: June 1 to July 1), the average uptime of all services is less than 99.7% (estimated total of 2 hours 9 minutes and 36 seconds) according to our monitoring provider (websitepulse.com), then you will receive a one month extension on your account. Services include HTTP (your website), Database and Email. These services are pinged every 10 minutes throughout the day continuously by our monitoring provider from two unique geographical locations to eliminiate false positives.

We will on occasion make upgrades to servers and/or networking equipment. Such maintenance will be performed during our regularly scheduled maintenance windows. Clients will receive at least 24 hours advance notice of any maintenance window via the email address on file for the account or through our announcements section. Any downtime that occurs during a scheduled maintenance window will not be counted towards our the uptime guarantee. Gearworx does not covers loss of revenues, click-throughs from Overture, Google and any other ad campaigns that you might be running for your website.

Price Freeze

Our price freeze guarantee ensures clients that they are locked into a set monthly rate as long as they remain a client in good standing of Gearworx By becoming a client and keeping your business with us long-term, we vow not to raise your monthly rate at any time in the future. The price freeze guarantee extends only to any accounts you have signed up in the past, and not to future accounts. In other words, if we raise prices at a certain point, any new accounts you sign up will fall under the new pricing structure while your old accounts will remain at the old pricing structure. In the event that a client changes their account plan or platform, the price freeze guarantee does not apply and the client will be subject to the current pricing on the new plan.
