Program Obligations
The Partner is wholly responsible for providing support to its Partner Customers. Our Customer Service department will provide the Partner with any non-sales related support; however the Partner's customers are not permitted to contact Gearworx directly, even if provided with the account information.

Partner Obligation. Every Partner participating in the Program must comply with the following:

  • Technical Support: One of the responsibilities of being a Gearworx Private label hosting Partner is to provide support to your resold clients. In order to keep Gearworx out of the picture of your clients, you need to support them! Thus, a working knowledge of the Internet and Gearworx services is needed. Of course, we realize that some issues will require our assistance, and our Partners can contact us anytime regarding any issue with their resold account(s) needing escalation. The Partner may not direct its Customers to contact Gearworx directly. The Partner may not provide its Partner Customers with applicable Gearworx account details to permit them to contact Gearworx directly. Gearworx may bill the Partner at our current standard rates for support provided to a Partner's Partner Customers if the Partner has violated this provision.
  • Partners Bill their Clients: So that Gearworx remains behind-the-scenes to your clients, you will also need to bill your customers. The Gearworx Partner is responsible for payment to Gearworx, and the Partner collects whatever fees he/she charges from their clients. This also allows for the Gearworx Partner to mark-up account prices to whatever they choose!
  • Sales and Other Support: The Partner must provide its Partner Customers with any needed billing, sales and general information support they may need. The Partner may not direct its Partner Customers to contact Gearworx for any purpose.
  • Product Labeling: The Partner must provide the products and services with its own name (except for third party products that are passed through). The Partner may not "co-brand" the products or services or communicate in any way to its Partner Customers or any other person that the products or services are being provided by Gearworx.
  • Business Conduct: The Partner must conduct its business with high levels of integrity and fair dealing. The Partner should maintain a reputation for fair dealing and customer service at the highest levels. This means no special catches, no "unlimited" hosting of any type, etc.
  • Terms of Service: The Partner must abide by the provisions of the Gearworx Terms of Service, as they may be modified from time to time. The Partner should impose conditions of service on its Partner Customers that are at least as stringent as those imposed by Gearworx. Without limiting the foregoing, the Partner must cause its Partner Customer to comply with Gearworx Acceptable Use Policy as the same may be modified from time to time. If any Partner customer violates the Gearworx Acceptable Use Policy, Gearworx may terminate or suspend the Hosting Services for such Partner Customer. Partner will be wholly responsible for any communications that may be necessary or appropriate with respect to such Partner Customer.
  • Participation in Affiliate and Referral Programs: Partner may participate in the Gearworx Affiliate and Referral Programs; however, Partner shall not submit any referrals, prospects, or orders for services pursuant to such Programs if such services are for Partner's own use or resale. Gearworx reserves the right to review and withhold payment and/or credits for orders or sales submitted by such Partner for such Partner's own use or resale.

We will provide the following for the Partner

  • Newsletter: Gearworx will provide Partner with the Partner newsletter on monthly or quarterly bases.
  • Online Support: Gearworx will provide online support site that includes: Billing Center, Policies & Procedures and Support Ticket Tracking as well as consulting (when applicable).
  • Other Features: Gearworx will provide cooperative marketing opportunities, online training, product information downloads, and unbranded Web-based administrative tools to allow customers to manage their sites
  • Existing Clients: Existing clients wishing to become private label partners may not convert existing web hosting account to resold accounts.
  • Existing Private Label Partners: Existing partners may not upgrade their account from bulk-reseller to pay-per-account or vice versa.
  • Changes: Gearworx may modify the content, terms and conditions of the Partner Program from time to time. The Partner should re-visit the Program Description on the Gearworx website from time to time to stay abreast of such changes. Any change to the Program Description will be effective immediately when posted here. When feasible, Gearworx will endeavor to provide Partner with advance notice of changes to the Program.
  • Updated Information: The Partner must keep Gearworx informed of changes in the Partner's contact information and other information contained in the Program Application by either (a) providing email notification of such changes to the Account Manager, or (b) using such other online notification tools (Client's area) as Gearworx may provide for such purpose.
